Hello, I'm hoping to get some help on this.

We have migrated some windows vm's (hyper-v) using cloudendure.

We need to add two static IP's to our windows server.  We use the create target-instance command,
gcloud compute target-instances create testinst --instance instance --zone=us-central1-a, once created, we create a forward,
gcloud compute forwarding-rules create forwarding-ssltestinst --target-instance=testinst --ip-protocol=TCP --ports=80

When I go into the server to set the new IP up in IIS, it's not there.  If I spin up a fresh instance, these commands work great.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Eric,

Could you please install the Windows Guest Environment as described here and try again?

Unfortunately, I can't get the script to execute properly.

I'm trying to copy the script into powershell, it seems the format and line are too long. Tried piecing it together, line by line, but I'm getting errors about GooGetRoot

If Googet is installed and running, I do not think you have to worry about re-installing it. I believe Leonid advise was pointing to re-installing Google Windows Guest Environment (google-compute-engine-windows and google-compute-engine-sysprep)

If Googet is not running you can try these steps
