When i run recorder.sh from cygwin i got following error please advice

We provide a bat file for running under Windows and have no reason to invest in Cygwin support.

If it doesn't work out of the box, you're on your own here.

Another option would be to use Docker on Windows and run a Linux distro.

Docker on Windows is still not native but VirtualBox based. You can use it for developing, but not for load testing.

Ok so what i understand is if i will run gatling on windows with .sh so it will not work ? also to add the line that it works fine with .bat file but i wanted to deploy the solution in lunix server so i was creating a local environment

Cygwin is nowhere near a real Linux terminal so, if you want to test how it will run on Linux, I suggest you use a Linux VM / Docker instead of Cygwin.

Basically, we don't time to investigate every possible terminal emulation.
