Games for Change is launching our
2nd annual G4C Student Challenge. This game design competition challenges public middle and high school students in NYC, Dallas, and Pittsburgh to create digital games about real-world issues like climate change and immigrant history.
Partners include the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), NOAA, Best Buy, and leaders in digital learning including Museum of the Moving Image, Institute of Play, and Mouse. Students will work with humanities scholars, professional game developers, and climate experts, learning how to apply game design to social change. The competition culminates with an awards ceremony in each city, and prizes like internships and mentorships.
