Hello,

I'm working with a nonprofit to create a set of analog games (likely in a card or domino format) for African American adults to encourage physical activity and healthy eating habits. Does anyone know of other games designed for this population, or on these topics, you can share? I haven't been able to find any information about the demographics of more traditional game players (as opposed to digital games). Any ideas or tips would be welcome!

Thanks!

Best,
Nedra

Hi Nedra,

I know about Choicersize. It's developed to teach about healthy eating habits and its been tested to show real results.  I'd be happy to connect you with the owner if you are interested. Feel free to PM me.

Hello Nedra,

I am not aware of any games designed for our demographic to address this issue. Often physical activity and eating habits in the African American community are passed down to the next generation. To help improve some of the challenges within our group it may be helpful to explore targeting middle school age children.

I hope this helps!
