Hello,
My name is Hyle L Daley and I attend George Mason University near Washington DC.
I am earning my PhD in Education with a specialization in Educational Psychology
and Learning Technologies. I am studying active learning strategies used in middle
and high school classrooms meant to help engage and motivate students (e.g.,
role play, real-world simulation, checkpoints, student choice, social spaces…).
In particular, I want to understand how and why they draw on these elements and
their observations of its impact on student engagement, motivation, and
learning.
To accomplish this, I would like to complete a one hour Skype or Google Hangout
interview. In addition, I would also like to collect some curricular materials
and/or student work samples.
