Orlando Maker Faire is next weekend! I need to book hotels for those of us going down, so I need a final head count. If you would like to join us, let me know ASAP. It will be an awesome networking opportunity, we'll meet lots of awesome makers, and we could definitely use the help representing the Hackerspace!
Setup is all day Friday, with a "Maker Mixer" Friday at 6pm-8pm. We don't have much to setup, so Friday isn't needed, but the Mixer would be a great opportunity to meet the other exhibitors. Think of all the networking! Then the exhibit itself is Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm. We can figure out shifts, so even if you could only make it one day, or for a few hours, that would still be awesome.
There is no cost to be a booth worker, since we are not selling anything there is no fees for us. Only costs would be to split the hotel room (for those of us staying in a room) and gas costs for carpools. I don't know the specifics yet, since it depends on how many people we have sharing a room, but it will be as reasonable as possible! I need to book hotels and sign all helpers up by Monday (10/16), so let me know if you can help ASAP.
