I've got a teak table similar to

https://www.scandesign.com/collections/dining-tables/products/2067-dining-table

(but 30 years of hard use downrange)

which will be lumber soon unless someone wants the table.

If I were to take it it'd probably wind up as lumber anyways, but I am curious if this is the kind of thing that could be sanded down + refinished, and if it's worth doing so. I've always been fascinated with the idea that people with solid wood floors could do that, whereas the people with engineered tile based wood floors had such a thin layer of wood that it was unlikely to work.

I would be interested in the table. How rough is it?

I would be interested as well. I've restored a few pieces that were pretty rough. Is it solid teak or laminate?
