possible layout of west space

Here is one possible configuration for the west space.

It moves the laser to a vent hooded bench in the machine room.

the fireball is also moved to the  machine room.

3D printers get a 136 square foot room

Computers get a 136 square foot room

The electronic workbench is rearranged a bit to reduce wasted space .

A dxf file of the design is also included so you can come up with your own proposals (draftsight and other free/inexpansive cad programs should be able to read the dxf.)

I especially like:

tool box location
vending machines location
wall to be removed makes auditorium feel less squished

Things I'm not sure about:

does electronic bench area lose shelves?
what about a few deep shelves behind and above bench for TE
placed in volume where PPE shelves are now
PPE shelves rearranged shallow
floor to tall shallow shelves to right of bench for vises, supplies
not behind bench which means bench not in way of reaching

probably whole 3D print room needs venting,
3D printers are stinky with non-PLA

where does machine room woodworking dust collector live?
inside building? (would rather exhaust to outside,
fine filtering is difficult)
next to vending?
outside building? (theft, weather, noise protection)

More ideas:

upper left corner to left of entry door is showcase for
member display objects, not just 3D printed objects;
member shingles go here

wall to be removed also removes short wall around corner

wall to be closed gets whiteboard at whiteboard height
seen as coming in door; above that gets area champion
face pictures, above whiteboard height because you don't
have to reach to them like a whiteboard

computer room side of wall to be closed could get bookcases for books,
which stay clean
fill in notches of missing desktop
