Hello,
I just installed Fuse4X
    ( by clicking "Download Fuse4X" on http://fuse4x.github.com/ )
When I enter "sshfs" in my terminal I get
    "sshfs: command not found"

Do I need to change something in my $PATH ?
Or to install something else?

Many thanks for your help,
Felix

http://blog.philippklaus.de/2011/07/sshfs-on-mac-os-x-10-6-8-with-fuse4x/

But my recommendation is to install a package manager (either MacPorts
or Homebrew) and then instal sshfs from there.

Many thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately it did not help me.
The link you give me is the one which I was already using.
They give 3 methods for the installation.
I installed (or tried to install) Fuse4X and sshfs using the first method which they give, i.e. from the link http://fuse4x.github.com
(as I mentioned in my first post).

Following your advice I tried the second method which is to use homebrew, but I failed to install homebrew.

I also tried the third method, namely by copying their command lines to my terminal, but I got an error (wget: command not found).

Thank you again, and I hope that I am not a hopeless case!

Sincerely,
Felix Werner
