eudev, udev, consolekit, lvm2 confusion

I have two distinctly configured Funtoo systems which are currently unable to update @world because of eudev, udev, consolekit, and lvm2 masks. (The only one that has escaped and somehow manages to update world is my work laptop, thankfully.)

What's the story on these packages, and how should I work around/with these masks?

Hey guys,

Oleg (angry_vincent) let me know that there were breakages this morning due to upstream Gentoo changes. He's going to take care of it, mask and/or fork things in order to deal with the breakage now and hopefully in the future as well.
