How do I remove unused indexed folder location

In the "In:" search box it lists all of the folders I previously searched. How can I clear this list? Many of the folders I don't use.

See the attachment. This is the area I am talking about. Even when I remove the area from preferences to be indexed, the folder remains in this drop down menu. How do I remove it from this drop down menu?

General preference pane > Recent folders menu > Clear Menu
