I'm unable to get reveal in finder working on our clients.
I've tried several different values in the File Sharing Integration without success.

We have an EMC Isilon NFS share, which is mounted the same way on the foxtrot server as it is on the clients.

Although the drive is mounted at /Volumes/Workspace, the finder shows the drive label as "Media"

The clients mount the nfs share directly from the fileserver, and are auto-mounted on startup.
We don't want to push the share through a machine because the file server has 4x 10Gb ethernet ports and the server only has 2x 1Gbe ports. We don't want this sort of bottleneck.

What values should I use for the File Sharing Integration configuration?

Could someone explain how these values are passed to the client?

Thanks
Mark

Usually, the Finder shows a volume whose label (name) is identical to the filesystem mount point, but this seems different in your case. What should be indicated in "Volume name", in the File Sharing Integration pane, is in fact the last component of the mount path; in your case, it is "Workspace" (make sure to respect the case).

"Shared folder" should be the folder or volume, on the server, which corresponds to the mounted volume on the clients. In your case, as the volume is mounted the same way on the server and on the clients, you should select this "Media" volume.
However, if you run "FoxTrot Search Admin" and connect to a remote FoxTrot Server, the standard file select dialog (which should show the "Media" volume as it appears in the Finder) is replaced by a non-standard dialog in which the volume may appear with its mount point name "Workspace".

If the problem persists, please reply to me directly.

The server is correctly configured and it was a client side issue, which they resolved themselves.  I'm not quite sure how the client side configuration could affect this.
Because I am uncertain with the server settings, if I do hear of an issue from a client, I assume it's a server configuration issue and not a client configuration issue.

Not knowing exactly how those settings work, what they do or how they are passed to the client is part of the issue.

We have mounts that are automounted with /etc/auto_master which cannot mount shares in /Volumes but in other locations like /net/ or /Network/ or /Your_custom_path_here/ but I don't know how to configure these.
