Tagging slow

Fotxtrot Professional 6.0 is lightning fast at finding files, but painfully slow at tagging them. I've just time how long it took to add a single tag to a batch of 100 files: 7 minutes. The same exercise using a different search application took 6 seconds.  The speed doesn't improve even when the files are all from the same index.  Any chance this could be addressed?

Yes, this can certainly be improved. We will try to do this in a future update.
