Could anyone volunteer to cleanup the documentation on the wiki? I think it is important to simply the wiki and remove old stuff that's no longer relevant.

I've spent the last few hours playing about with Jeykll and Github pages (https://pages.github.com/) creating a Flyspray page using a theme available on Github.

Learning about Github pages has been on my todo list for a while so I would be interested in cleaning up and porting the wiki content to Flysprays Github page.

If your interested can you create a flyspray.github.io respository.

I am happy to do so, but before I do, what do you think is the best interaction between the wiki, github and new github site? Just want to make sure there is a good plan to avoid having documentation scattered across sites.

What are you thoughts?

I have also added you to a developer on github. All of the contributions are appreciated! You can also checkout bugs.flyspray.org if you'd like to see currently outstanding issues.

I'll help out with the wiki I'm just not a fan of the wiki look and feel especially for the front page.

My thoughts on the website and Github:

1. Port the content from the wiki to Github pages

2. If the community likes and wants the Flyspray.Github.io site all of the remaining content can be moved over and whoever controls the Flyspray.org domain can point it at the Github pages.

One issue though with moving the main site to Github pages is where to host the Flyspray download.
It appears to be hosted on the same server as Flyspray.org

3. Turn off the issue tracker on Github, move the existing ones and update the readme to ask users to submit issues to bugs.flyspray.org

If no one have any objections I'll create the Flyspray.Github.io repo and move a few pages over as prove of concept for you opinions and feedback.

If all (usable) content from the wiki is moved to github and we can delete the wiki afterwards, I'm fine with it (screenshot looks good). Having both must be avoided.

Let me know when the transfer of information from old to new is done, and then we can have Flo switch over the DNS record. In process if you can make me admin on new site, I can help with documentation too.

I don't have permission to create the flyspray.github.io repository.
Could someone who does have permission create it and allow me to push to it.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you.

I've just realised I have permission to create repositories now so http://flyspray.github.io has been setup and pushed.

There is a list of TODOs in the readme (https://github.com/Flyspray/flyspray.github.io) and basic instructions for creating new pages.
