Closing a task

Basic question, but does a task becoming recognised as "closed"?

Currently there is a 'Close task' button at the right on task detail page where you can select also the resolution and add a comment for the closing.

(Yea, that button position is not the best, maybe that action buttons as whole must be reviewed for FS1.1 on details page with more focus on intuitive usability and workflow.)
