Treasure Agent 3 has beed released!

Hi folks,

We released Treasure Agent 3 today!

This articles describes about td-agent v3 and differences from v2.

Main differences are:

- Ruby 2.4

- Fluentd v0.14

- Windows support

Note that td-agent 3 itself is beta because fluentd v0.14 is not stable for now.

We have several tasks to make fluentd v0.14 stable.

After finished it, we announce td-agent 3 is stable.

But we think core functionalities work well,

so you can test td-agent 3 on actual workloads :)

td-agent 3, fluentd v0.14, has compatibility layer, so

almost configurations should work without update.

I forgot to mention the repository path.

td-agent 3 has different path for repository.

So if you setup deb / rpm setting with td-agent 2 repository,

update operation doesn't update td-agent 2 to td-gent 3.

You need package manager's repository setting to td-agent 3 path.

td-agent3: http://packages.treasuredata.com/3
