Kubernetes Integration

Hello,
I am part of a Special Interest Group of the Kubernetes open source project and we are having discussions related to logging (aggregating, shipping, processing) and was hoping to get a fluentd rep to show up to the meetings to make sure we are keeping this as a viable option for all kubernetes deploys.  Fluentd is already a preferred and supported option for kubernetes but its important to keep in touch as discussions occur.

Is this the correct forum for this question or should I attempt a different path?

Hi Patrick,

I am Eduardo from Treasure Data and part of Fluentd team. Due to a calendar problem I was not able to join the meeting.

In the meanwhile we were working with k8s team solving some memory issues (with @piosz and @@crassirostris) we got some info about sig-instrumentation. Definitely this is something from our interest and we plan to support all needs by kubernetes in terms of logging, metrics, collection and distribution.

This is the official mailing list (group) for Fluentd related discussion, so yes, you can reach us here.

Also we just created a new #k8s channel in our Slack team at slack.fluentd.org, please feel free to join.
