Good afternoon,

I'm having trouble with an HTML template I'm hoping to send to users who submit a Google Form I have set up.

I have set up the trigger but the conditions I have set out in the template document don't appear to be adhered to.

The variable I am concerned with in my form is 'haveyoucompetedinternationallyinyourprimarysportoverthepast12months'. I want users who choose 'Yes' to this question to receive one email, and those who choose 'No' to receive an altered version.

Therefore in my HTML template I have used the condition ${if haveyoucompetedinternationallyinyourprimarysportoverthepast12months=Yes} (as seen in the attached screenshot).

For some reason, regardless of whether users choose Yes or No, both entries receive the text which follows the above condition.

Any help with this would be great.

Thanks,

Jack

Can you please print the "raw" value of the variable to your template to check what value it contains?
${haveyoucompetedinternationallyinyourprimarysportoverthepast12months}

Then I can help you to create the correct condition.

I think this is what you mean.

Can you please do a test like this:
${if haveyoucompetedinternationallyinyourprimarysportoverthepast12months=Yes}The answer is yes${else}The answer is no${end}
and check the output?

That seemed to work.

Is there perhaps a character limit to the text within the confines of the conditions?

The issue appears to be related to the Google Form trigger.

When I run a batch, the variable conditions apply, yet when I enter a 'no' variable from the original Form, I still receive the response as if I had checked 'yes'

What building blocks are you using in your flow? Can you send me a screenshot?
