What is the recommended best practice on what to do with proper names in FLEx? I have heard something about keeping them in a separate list, but how is that done?

Thanks,

Ben

Thre main concern with those is that you don't want them in a dictionary. You can exclude them by leaving the field "Publish in" empty. By default, this field is set to "Main Dictionary".

I don't know if it's best practice, but I created a subcategory of noun, proper noun, and so I can exclude those from publishing.

What is the best practice? I created a subcategory of noun, proper noun, and a subcategory within proper noun, personal name. Some personal names actually need to be in the dictionary such as the names of folk heroes and other characters that show up in folktales. I made a distinction between Publish in: “main dictionary” and “Publish in: “personal names in texts” to try to exclude personal names in texts from being added to the dictionary. I don’t think that I have it working properly.
