Character ignored in sorting

Dear all,

Flex no longer sorts my ñ character in the dictionary view and also in the export. All lexemes beginning with that character are currently placed under n. I have checked the sort order in the writing systems setup, ñ and Ñ are correctly listed in the chart. Changing the font (Charis SIL to Lucida Sans Unicode) didn't solve the problem so it's probably not a font issue. What's wrong? I am using Flex 8.3.1 Beta but the problem began with the latest stable release 8.2.8
