I built a Conditional Random Field morphological analyzer with Python. It parses a .flextext XML export of interlinear text to create training data and then predicts morphemes breaks on unanalyzed texts. I would like to import those morpheme segmentation predictions back into FLEx so that native speaker can check and correct them right in FLEx. However, creating the XML doc with the Python seems a like more work than I want to do within a semester. i was wondering if anyone has done anything similar? Or might suggest another way to get the segmented data back into FLEx or another enviroment that would transfer to Flex with less hassle?

Thanks,

There isn’t officially a way to import segmented data into FLEx, whether created by hand or even by FLEx.

There may be ways using things like the FLExTools suite, but I am not sure.  I recommend communicating with the developers directly.
