I just updated to v. 8.3.1beta. I'm really liking the improvements so
far--thanks, developers!
One question: is there a way to bulk fill the Etymology > Source
Language field? I have already noted that 'Source Language' is not an
eligible field in 'Bulk Edit Entries', but is there another way? In
8.2.x I was using the Etymology > 'Comment' field for source language
information. In 8.3 that field has been renamed to 'Following
Comment'. In 8.3 I have created a number of 'Languages' in Lists >
Languages, but it would be really nice if one could apply a language
to a number of entries at once. I have over 300 to re-do, and there's
a lot of clicking involved...
Any help appreciated!

It ought to work in the Bulk Edit Lists tab, since the content comes from a list.

That would be nice, but when I go to 'Configure Columns...' and find
'Etymology - Source Language' it is lacking the blue double arrow =
"Available for Bulk Editing". On the 'List Choice' tab, the only
option available in the 'Target Field:' drop-down is 'Morph Type'. Am
I missing something, or is this feature not yet built? The fields are
new, so it may be the case that they're not ready for Bulk Editing
yet...
