Redis goes to 100% CPU on an get /entities

We have a flapjack instance that has been running for some time; recently when we do a "GET /entities" call the redis process goes to 100% CPU and the call never returns. 

We have to kill redis to get any response from flapjack at all.

Any one have any insight into this?
