Using FITS without installing, maybe as single all-classes-including jar?

is there a possibillity to use the FITS without installing it? I would like to include a simple jar and then call the FITS API. How are you using the FITS and API?

Unfortunately, FITS is designed to be used after it is installed, even our internal applications which use the FITS APIs require that it be installed.

Just a heads-up that a version which handles classloading in a better way is in the works.
