fits website download issues

Hi,

There seems to be something wrong with the web server or network on which the fits downloads are made available.

Downloads keep getting interrupted and a colleague in a different part of the country is experiencing the same, so it's unlikely an issue at our end.

I tried to use the contact form on the website but that email bounced back.

This has been a known issue since last week. We are attempted to track down the group that manages the servers on which software was recently updated. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think the issue might be back. During download the connection was reset frequently and was finally denied after my client reconnected a few times. Tried it from different networks without success.

Hello Gunter,

The FITS binaries for fits-1.2.0.zip have been uploaded to an alternate site until this issues has been resolved. Please go to the downloads page. You should now be able to download these binaries.
