I believe you can turn off the MediInfo tool, thus removing the Ebucore output, in the fits.xml file. This should turn back on most of the earlier functionality and bring back the output from the Exiftool.

Ebucore (and integrating MediaInfo into FITS) were chosen by an independent consulting agency as a way to retrieve metadata for videos in a more modern and Standardized way.
