I would like to suppress this message "This site makes use of a SHA-1 Certificate; it's recommended you use certificates with signature algorithms that use hash functions stronger than SHA-1."

How can I do that please?

Bump, on magento its impossible to use console, over 9000 sha-1 messages spam. Think once per page load is enough.

Note that those messages come from Firefox itself, Firebug is just displaying them. If you get spammed by them, you should open a bug for that.
Firebug 2's Console panel can unfortunately only filter messages by text. Though there are already several requests to improve the filtering like issue 4507.
