Firefox devtools sidebar UX issue

Hi there,
I try to keep it short.
The ff devtools, when opened in the sidebar, pushes the close and dock buttons outside of the window. IMO if you fix this, the thing gets to be usable again.
I think it's a very silly mistake with disastrous consequences because I was afraid to click 'inspect element' for two weeks because I did not know how to remove it. This is a first, in about 25 years of IT experience.

It's a prime example of how you can scare all your users away. ;-)

You can remove it any time by pressing F12. However, I agree it's a very
silly bug that needs to be fixed. I've created

Mentioned it in the bug already, but here again for reference: This issue already got fixed for Firefox 55.0 (currently in Nightly channel). See bug 1338106.
