Since it's installed as a Chrome extension, it can be removed via Chrome's menu > Tools > Extensions > Click on "trash" symbol.

One cannot uninstall Firebug lite in the way that one uninstalls other Chrome extensions.  I have been trying for a long time to uninstall it, and can't figure out how to do so. There is no way to un-check the box or trash it.  It is really unacceptable.

The usual method actually works for me, able to disable/remove the extension. You can also remove extenision by deleting the source from your chrome profile folder, which must be somewhere in Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions. The folders will be named after your extension ids.
