Google reCAPTCHA not working in Firefox when Firebug is on

The page loads fine and works as expected when Firebug is turned off, but when Firebug is turned ON, reCAPTCHA blocks the page from loading and just displays a blank page.

OS: OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Firefox: Version 42

Firebug: 2.0.13
