I'm a web developer that use a lot Firebug, my problem now is that
when I use firebug in any page that display a console log or an ajax
request it makes firefox crash.

Is there any way I can figure out why it's happening? O there is
somebody that have the same problem.

Cheers.

They are related, but I still can't find any possible solution.

I downgraded to Firefox 9.0 like the forum said and still is
happening.

Is there any way I can search for what is happening? I don't have any
clue of where firebug or firefox error log are stored.

Rodrigo, could you please provide steps to reproduce within the bug report:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723445

That would help to fix it

Thanks!

I've got the same problem with FB 1.9.1, FF 10.0.1, Windows 7 64bit.
Fix: remove FB 1.9.1 and install 1.8.4 (http://getfirebug.com/releases/
firebug/1.8/). Yes I know that this version does not claim to be
compatible with FF 10, but still it works (at least I can debug js).

I believe I've encountered the same problem.
I'm running Firefox 10.0.2 on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick.

I've tried:
- different versions of Firebug (1.8.4b1, 1.9.1 and 1.10a5 )
- Different machines (have another Ubuntu machine with firefox 10.0.1,
same issue)

To reproduce the issue, I have to:
1) Turn on firebug
2) Go to console
3) Write something on the console and wait 1-2 seconds before hitting
return. Eg: start to write the selector $('table
4) Firefox Crashes

Here are a few firefox crash reports I've collected on Friday.
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/c32ef06c-bebd-4478-8da6-063d12120309
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/2e4b0b77-8359-4615-ad3f-4db792120309

Do you know where to proceed to help triage/fix the issue? I don't
even know if this is related with firebug or firefox. What bug reports
should I add this info to?

Cheers,

Miguel Almeida
