Console.assert not working in Firebug 2.0.12 (Firefox, Linux)

When I use the default browser debugging tool (disabling Firebug and pressing F12) it works properly, but when Firebug is active, it doesn't catch the console.assert.

Yes, that's a known issue. We have released a new version (2.0.13), but we're still waiting for addons.mozilla.org review.
