Barcode scanning trouble with data matrix

I have setup an Android project to use the Google Firebase ML Kit for Barcode scanning and have no problem with multiple 1D barcodes being recognized, but 2D data matrix barcodes are not recognized as easily and only one is scanned at a time. Are multiple data matrices able to be scanned at a time? And is there a way to guarantee they are recognized more easily?

Jason, I've checked with the eng team, and the reason you might be having issues is that DataMatrix codes are only recognized if they intersect the center point of the frame, which implies only one can be scanned at a time.

We have no problem scanning this Data Matrix cod, but so far we cannot get a verifier report on it. Do  you want us to investigate further or is the problem resolved?

Problem has been solved. I found the sweet spot on the camera where is is able to detect the data matrix.
