FCM Notifications Unregistered registration Token

Hi there

What could be the reason behind the error Unregistered registration token when trying to send a notification to a single device from the console. 

The registrattion is exactly the same as the one obtained using FirebaseInstanceId.getInstance().getToken() in my android app.

I would appreciate if you can point to the right direction or give me a hint.
