Hello,

Thank you for taking time in reading my post.

I would like to enquire about geofire capabilities, im trying to implement geotracking in my app where user and employee can see each other locations if the GPS is turned on with a distance in km between user and employee and if the user then wish to see more details on the employee he can click on the employee name and see a detailed map of where he is or visa versa, but the geotracking must only show the closest employees and users.

I have tried using the example in github for geofire and dont seem to get it right and working....

Could you please advise if this can be done with geofire?

Regards,
Pieter.

Yes, this can definitely be done with GeoFire. You essentially will want to add all your users' current location to a GeoFire index and then create a GeoQuery to find all the employees within a certain radius. Your question is pretty vague and it's not clear what you have and haven't tried yet, so please try to clarify and provide some code samples. Also, please let us know what platform your code is in (web, iOS, or Android)?

Cheers,
Jacob
