I just configurated a new User property, but I can not update the name or delete it. Is that designed to be so?
Also I added a duplicated App, but I do not find a place to delete it. I only found 'Delete Project' link.

As noted in other threads, deleting apps is being worked on an will be available in the near future. As for the User property, what product are you referring to?

You are limited to 25 unique User Properties per app in Firebase Analytics, according to the docs. Given their importance in defining Audiences for Notifications and Remote Configuration it would be critical to be able to delete them. Currently I don't see a way to do this.

I also added some User Properties in Analytics that I now want to delete. It only has an edit button where you can change the description, but the name is greyed out. There doesn't seem to be a way to delete them in the UI.

You can register up to 25 User Properties.  If you still have not yet register 25 of them, you can just use the next available slot.

Alternatively, if you want to start fresh, you can create a new Firebase project.

Anybody figure out a way to delete user properties?  I've already committed to using my existing Firebase project, so I would really like to figure out how to delete unused user properties.

I can appreciate the desire to maintain a clean setup without the obsolete properties lying around.  We are considering adding the option to delete user properties, but in the meantime, I would suggest that you continue to use your remaining unused 25 user property slots and to ignore obsolete entries.

Hi Steve,
What if we don't have any slots left, but some of the properties are in fact obsolete and can be replaced? Do you have any suggestions?

Ewa, at the moment, your only options are to create a new project or to wait until we add the ability to delete slots.  No ETA on that yet.

+1 for this feature. While I still have 24 slots avaliable, I accidentally added one because no custom event data was showing up and I wanted to check if those user properties are related.

So this property would clash with a non-user property, which I don't think is a problem for the system itself as I'm certain that it can distinguish between event properties and user properties, but for the sake of keeping the console nice and tidy, it would be good to be able to delete them.

We would love to be able to delete User Properties too as we revise and relaunch an existing experiment sometimes with a new variant and to be able to get an unbiased data, we need to delete an existing User Property as we only get 25 which is too low.

Removal of unwanted/created by mistake USER PROPERTIES is really needed, please let us delete them.

A year passed after feature-request, but we still can't delete user properties. Is it even in development? Will it be available soon, or it isn't expected in nearest future?

At least, allow deletion or update for unused properties. I entered "Something" only to realize seconds later that it should be in lowercase. Now, I cannot delete, edit, and even add new (lowercased) version!

You should be able to create the new, lower-case version of "something". I've just confirmed myself that this works.  If you are prevented from doing so, please file a bug.
