Firebase Analytics Reportin Best Practice

Hi,

I am trying to understand what is the best practice approach to reporting from Firebase Analytics. I come from Google Analytics for Web/App background and I am not able to do some basic things I've been used to - Segmentation of current data, building Custom dashboards.

Segmenting data by geography/parameters

Through audiences. Not available on historical data, only moving forward. 

For any historical investigation, the best approach is to have all data exported in BigQuery.

Custom Dashboard

Upgrade to Firebase Blaze -> Push data to BigQuery -> Build dashboard in Data Studio (template)

Integrating with GA

Is there a way how to integrate with GA and use the GA interface to cut through Firebase data? I found this article but haven't tried it out, yet.

Your notes are right - re the interface, it'll be largely the same thing in the GA console for those properties. You could use Google Tag Manager to dual-log in to GA from GA4F: https://developers.google.com/tag-manager/ios/v5/
