For those who want to use the official channel to report bugs / feature requests, you can report them
here. These are triaged by our support team, grouped together, and forwarded onto the respective teams / engineers in an easily digestible manner for us.
We have received an unprecedented amount of comments, bug reports, and feature requests since the Firebase announcement last Wednesday and are working through the queue in the best priority order we can. Please bear with us while we get back on our feet.
@Daniel - You just got a new watcher on your repo - me! I'm hopeful to work through all of the issues and make you a happy developer again. In many ways, this is just more work for me and the rest of the Firebase team as it's yet another thing to monitor (on top of Stack Overflow, Google Groups, Twitter, Facebook, Slack, our own GitHub repos, our support email address, our internal bug / feature tracker, etc.). I think it's safe to say we've historically done a pretty good job talking with developers and resolving issues and questions. I know you aren't the happiest with the support channels we would like you to use and you are definitely more than free to create a new one, but please give us the benefit of the doubt for a little while until we can get you answers to your questions. In the meantime, you can simply stick with the existing 2.x.x SDKs until we resolve your issues to your satisfaction. I plan on addressing all of your Google Groups non-answered Google Groups comments as soon as I have some time to breath.
