Hi,

Is there any reason why politicians' birthday are not scraped?

I'm presuming that the data is too inconsistently available across
states to make it worth the effort.

If this is not the case, would folks (besides me) a) be interested in
the data, b) would patches to the scrapers for this be welcomed, and
most importantly c) would Sunlight be willing to augment the API to
expose the data once its available?

Thanks
Mark

If the data was available for a given state and someone were to contribute a patch to a legislator scraper we'd gladly accept it, the API wouldn't require any changes as it already serves out extra fields as they exist.  We don't collect it at present because most states didn't have a good source for this, as you assumed.
