I use mailchimp to send out weekly updates using RSS feed. Since mailchimp does not show featured image if we do not show full content in email, i used the plugin "send images to RSS" for the same. The images then show but along with some weird characters that are not a part of the post. Upon deactivating the plugin, both the preview image and characters disappeared. I cannot figure out the correct settings. Please help!
