Lately I've had a bunch of Outlook.com email addresses added to my Blogger Feed.  I check each one and they're duds.  I have to manually delete each address from my feed.  Why are these addresses populating my feed and "Active", yet they are all bad addresses?  Please help.

I have just noticed the same thing in my own Blogger feed and came here to look for answers as well. All the outlook.com addresses were subscribed between June 2 and this week, and all seemed to have hispanic names or a combination of hispanic terms as a user name.  I also deleted them one by one and I really don't relish having to do this every day.  I wish there was a way to stop this, short of not letting people subscribe via email at all!  Also, I wish there was a way to bulk delete them, as doing it one by one is time consuming since you have to verify the deletion every time. I had over 160 "subscribers" that had been added.

Have you found out anymore about this issue?  No one seems to know.

No and I don't think anyone here will help us with this. I ended up taking the "subscribe via email" widget off my blog after deleting the latest batch of fake subscribers. The real subscribers still get the emails but no one else can sign up as an email subscriber. I put a note for people to subscribe via an RSS feed reader/aggregator if they don't want to visit the blog directly every day. I just didn't trust that the fake subscribers wasn't part of some nefarious thing!
It's very annoying that Google doesn't provide any help desk for those issues. Good luck!

This has been happening to me and a blog I use for a real group. The outlook addresses add about 25 a day to each blog. This is crazy. WE can not be the only ones with this problem.

I'm having this same exact issue, with the same exact @outlook.com subscribers.  I've just been deleting the addresses, too, but it is time-consuming.  I'm debating also taking the email subscription service off my website, but I don't really want to do that.  It's just super-frustrating.

I too have been having the same problem with a bunch of outreach e-mail addresses which many of them seem to have the same route name, over tha past 24 hours or so.  It's frustrating, having read all of your comments that there appears to be nothing to be done about it - other than manually deleting them and removing the subscription field.
My query really is, why would this be happening anyway?  What benefit is it to who ever it is doing it?  Do you think they'd be able to gain access to our blogger platforms etc??

I've had the same problem since May 13th or so. It's very frustrating. I'm afraid that in deleting the bogus @outlook.com addresses, I might accidently eliminate valid subscribers. It is does not appear a solution is forthcoming.
