total views for a post is different on the posts page & the stats page

Views of a post on the post page is half of what it is on the stats "total" page. Why would that be? Can I trust any of the numbers? The total # of views on the stats page also bears absolutely no resemblance to the feedburner button for views. I have absolutely no idea if anyone is reading anything I write. www.thebowedbookshelf.blogspot.com
