Feed cname url fails after transferring feed to a new owner

I transferred a number of feeds from one account to a new account and now they do not work when accessed through the cname rss.cnn.com. They still work at feeds.feedburner.com. Are MyBrand cnames associated with a specific user account? Here is an example:

This feed works on the Feedburner domain:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/rss/cnn_living

Cname url for the same feed fails after account transfer   http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_living

Other feeds that are still associated with the original account on the cname domain work, for example:

http://rss.cnn.com/rss/edition

The failing cname urls begin working again if I transfer the feed back to the original owner.
