Hi,

I’ve tried to install Fedora 2.2.1 on windows XP following the installation guide but I get the following error when performing the quick or custom install (the client installs without error).

        at com.simontuffs.onejar.Boot.main(Boot.java:105)

ERROR: Unexpected error; installation aborted.

java.lang.NullPointerException

        at fedora.utilities.install.FedoraHome.configureFedoraUsers(FedoraHome.java:148)

(The full output transcript is below if needed.)

Anyone know what’s happening?

Cheers,

Caroline

hi caroline

it's suffering from the "java.net.URL class not able to handle spaces in file urls" bug that sun refuse to fix.

try installing into a path name without a space in it.

i don't understand why Sun don't fix this.
