Hi everone...

I will make a new release by the end of the next week. Whether it will be thursday or friday is not yet decided. This will properly be the last release in 2012 and will only contain few new features but two new translations!  

Some of you might have noticed that some strings have been changed. This is an attempt to make it easier for new translators and easier for me to do minor changes without having to retranslate whole strings.

I have implementet one new feature. It is now possible to record a custom region of your screen. This still a working progress, but it works as intended :-) I have made a video to show it off: https://vimeo.com/55163997 (Vimeo is converting the video at the moment, so be patient ;-) )

So far the changelog looks like this:

- Added: Portuguese (Brazil) by Alexandro "salmora8" Casanova
- Added: Russian by Danilov "modos189" Alexandr
- Added: The possibility to record a region of the screen
- Added: GPL license in about dialog
- Changed: Instead of default recording dir beeing $HOME then it will read XDG_VIDEOS_DIR. Like $HOME/Videos
- Changed: If a chosen microphone no longer exists or not found, the settings dialog will say so. 
- Fixed: Stopwatch does not stop when pushbutton is pressed, but when recording has been encoded

 I see nothing about plugins m8 :( ... so you decide to go for beer and girls huh? :D  hey everibody the drinks and girls are on OLE ghghghgh

Hehe, yeah still no plugins.. Why? Simply because I haven't figured out how to do it right.

 

The version on Github called "development_with_plugins" does work, and it loads and runs plugins. But its not working as well as I want to and since I dont have too much time to finish it, I'll rather wait.

 

But if anyone can make it work, be my guest :D
