Good overall design

Good overall design, but single zippers on windows are big disappointment. Sturdy. Set up in the sand at Carolina Beach, weather rolled in with 20-25+ wind, didn't rip a stitch. Excellent bargain :)

Great for the two of us!

We like the fact we can sleep in one area, and have all our gear stowed in the extra room.
However, the zipper is a hassle on the main entrance. It tends to want to get caught in the material. Other than that, we love it!

Would be a good tent if not for the window awning design

I like the size of this tent, the headroom (~7'), and the overall simplicity of set up - except for the windows. The window design is horrible. You have to cram wimpy little poles into a fabric sleeve that goes around the entire awning. This all has to be done at an angle that makes it difficult to both get the pole through the tiny opening and thread it through the sleeve simultaneously. Then you have to force the other end of the pole into its seating position. You have to put quite a lot of stress on the poles to make this happen. One of them snapped for me the second time I used the tent. You also have to tie down every window awning in two places. I would easily give this tent four stars if not for this atrocious design flaw. My only other issue is the lack of a rain fly, which is not obvious from the picture. The window and door awnings are all integrated into the tent itself. I was worried about it leaking, but it has gone through several rain showers and one decent storm
without leaking at all so far.
