- The Timberline SQ Outfitter 6 tent from Eureka sleeps 6, has 2 doors and is a classic tent updated with the latest in frame technology. The Timberline series has been famous for years as the Scout's tent of choice, Why? Because of ease of set up, durability and reliability. Well Eureka just made it better with a stronger and easier to set up aluminum frame set. The frame is so tough that Eureka began to compare it to the strength and durability of the giant Sequoia tree and the name stuck (SQ). A stronger, thicker ridge pole and the SQ frame's spreader pole not only increase overall frame strength but adds more usable square footage to the interior of the tent. Improved ventilation with the addition of 2 generous roof vents mean long humid tent nights will be much more comfortable than in the past. In addition Eureka has lengthened the side of the fly for even more coverage and added vestibule wings to the front of the tent to protect the door from weather. Some of the good

Best damn tent

Bought my six person outfitter 30 years ago. Sleeps a family of four plus doberman just fine, along with your gear. Room down the outside of tent wall for fishing gear. A bit heavy for serious back-packing, unless you have a strong son to load it on. Remarkably strong tent by design...I do put down a tarp under the tent to protect it. Reliable in 30-40 mph winds and heavy rain...I do coat it every year to ensure water-proof. Zippers are superb after all these years. You can't go wrong and you can stand up in the tent to get dressed in the morning. I also purchased the add-on vestibule...no floor but I like to sit there on a stool and watch it rain.

Ok the thing is a fallout shelter BIG and SERIOUSLY strong

OK I WILL KEEP TO THE POINTS THAT MATTER.
CONS : Seriously Eureka made in CHINA and at this price? I hope your employees have FANTASTIC benefits and retirement plans because the price of this is way up there and the footprint $69.99? WOA the margin must be huge. Yes even the DAC poles...CHINA only EASTON is made here in the USA. I purchased the ENTIRE package the tent the floor and the vestibule.
As for everything else the tent far exceeded my expectations for overall size and build A+ all the way in every way. I have already in just 2 weeks run it through the wringer so to speak and its an awesome tent.

VESTIBULE UNKNOWN ARRIVED TODAY WILL UPDATE FOR SURE,
WEIGHT? truly a total HIPPO heavy but WORTH the weight.
I was a bit weary of spending this kind of $ but I must say I am very happy with the tent and WOULD fully recommend it to any serious camper, It is only March 18th and I have been out this year 14 days already.
So with my stakes replaced and a different bag for it and new guy lines and some shock cord it gets the A, really
nice tent and really stout to say the least

LAKE MARION SOUTH CAROLINA THIS TENT WITHSTOOD 75+ MPH WINDS AND HAIL AS A TORNADO MOVED PAST ME A MILE AWAY TREES FELL ALL AROUND ME AND I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE NOT BEEN HURT...TENT HELD LIKE A CHAMP NO DAMAGE AT ALL (ALL GUYLINES WERE USED TO THE MAX)MSR CYCLONE STAKES AND ADAMS MANUFACTURING STAKES TOO.
