Problem running extempore on unbunu 16.04 - Error binding extempore address to socket

I have tried to run the executable file from extempore-0.7.0-ubuntu and the process crashes. See dump below.
Can anyone help or suggest how I can resolve this problem?

Looks like there's another process listening on port 7098 (or maybe 7099). Possibly another instance of extempore?  Maybe one that has crashed but left the port locked? You could try listing sockets with something like "netstat -lntu", and listing processes with "ps -faux"
