Running thousand of insert script is slower!

Hi,

I used hsql swing tool to insert data, it took only few seconds. Please see the code here:

It is inserting parallel with thread. May be you can optimize your ide. EQ is the coolest.. Please optimized it.

thanks for your comments.

there are no plans to provide a way to execute multiple statements in different threads for performance or any other reason. i don't necessarily see it as an optimisation either and i suspect it would have mixed results across different database/driver implementations and indeed specific use cases.
