Hi everyone,

Does Eventbrite API v3 give the possibility to order tickets via API?
Of course I'm referring only to those events created with via API from my application.

Best regards,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

We do not have a method for ordering tickets. Currently all attendees need to go through the registration flow or you can manually add them in the backend. This is a somewhat popular request and may be implemented in the future, but is currently not in our roadmap.

We'll announce with any new information.

Best,
Dana

Dana,
Can I refer someone into the registration workflow and somehow be notified if they actually order a ticket?  If so, how?

Hi Ray,

Yes! You can setup webhooks to send whenever an order is placed.

I hope this helps!

Hi Dana

Since it's been well over a year since this last post above, and considering it is a popular request, I was wondering if this is something you guys have added or are considering adding in the near future?

thanks in advance and Happy holidays!

Hi Declan,

We have been taking note of how often this feature request is made. Unfortunately, it is not something that we are currently planning to introduce.

I've had to write a custom application doing some screen scraping to place orders. I have an event that we have switched to event bride and unfortunately about 20% of our older audience incest on using paper registration. For these I've come up with a .net application that reads and excel registration and orders tickets on their behalf for tracking and reporting purposes. While not ideal it does solve my immediate problem of getting outside registrations in. Now if eventbrite could just add the feature, though I understand why they don't. Currently they don't charge for adding people manually so the charge model for api additions might be difficult and would depend on the event organizer to remain honest enough to not abuse the feature.

Hi,

Is there an endpoint available to order tickets via API? I understand that it is not available in the past so check to see if it is available now.

Hello there, we don't have an endpoint to place an order, you might wanna consider using the checkout widget or any of the mobile apps.

Thanks

Hello,

I am trying to put a feature in my App to purchase tickets for events listed in Eventbrite. What API can be used for that?

Thanks,
Hema.

Hi Hema,

We do not offer the ability to purchase tickets or place orders via our API at this time. It is best to leverage the Embedded Checkout feature, which you can find more information about here, or you can redirect listings to Eventbrite event pages.

Thank you!
Natalie
